The Casell'arte project was born from the desire to offer a place of creation and production , but also to initiate a reflection on the cultural development of the territory, based on the notion of the heritage, natural and human components of the micro -region.
THREE PRIORITIES DRIVE THE ACTIONS OF LA FABBRICA CULTURALE
RESEARCH AND CREATION For artists, residencies represent an alternative space in which their research can take place outside the box. They feel more freedom in their reflection and their creation outside the circuit of economically regulated institutions. This phase is important because it can take time, and the artist residency offers this period conducive to the complete development of a project, without having an obligation of result. |
CREATE A NETWORK The residency will also aim to allow artists to create a network of collaborators and relationships for their current or future projects. Artists have the opportunity to receive visits from professionals, exhibition curators, gallery owners, collectors, but also any person or artist from another sector who may be interested in collaborating. (videographer, landscape architect, craftsman, director, etc.) in order to consider bridges between the different disciplines. |
CREATING A SYNERGY BETWEEN ART AND THE MICRO REGION How does an artist take over a territory? Casell'ARTE aims to anchor creation in its relationship to place, space, buildings, the population, and living things by encouraging the production of works and mediation actions in rural areas as well as in geographical and social spaces not dedicated to art. The presence of artists on site will make it possible to make new audiences aware of contemporary creation and to interact with the place by enhancing it. |
